Natural yarns, but what changes?

Why choose a garment made with natural and recycled yarns?

1. Feel your skin breathing and perspiring! Once worn, they create a sort of “insulating chamber” between the body and the external environment, maintaining a stable body temperature and promoting perspiration.

2. Clothes do not get odor-filled and you use them for more days! Since they do not have chemical agents inside (which are the cause of bad odors) you can just air your garment (especially winter ones) you will be pleasantly surprised! And therefore you wash less and use more!

3. Buy less and use everything. A handmade garment with natural yarns lasts over time and as a customer told me: "I buy little but I use the few things with care and a lot because they are made just for me, with beautiful materials, with the colors I love the most and in my size" (she makes custom orders because she is a petite size).

4. You feel less cold and less hot. Natural fibers as previously mentioned are breathable, that's why you can wear light wool even in summer! Don't grandparents with wool vests even in summer tell you anything?

5. You don't feel any discomfort, itching or pain. The alpaca fiber that you find in all winter garments is classified as a luxury fiber. It is in fact much more resistant, warm and soft than sheep's wool, furthermore it does not contain lanolin, and is therefore hypoallergenic. To the touch it can be comparable to a high-end cashmere and is appreciated for its thermal properties and for its lightness.
